NewspaperDirect Adds SmartNavigation for E-papers

New York—NewspaperDirect Inc. of Vancouver, British Columbia, which provides same-day digital delivery and local printing of newspapers, upgraded its PressDisplay.com service, which provides ePaper solutions to more than 200 newspapers and magazines.
SmartNavigation at PressDisplay.com combines a newspaper's look and feel with advanced digital tools including a table of contents, article text view, story jumps, and instant translation into 10 languages. Part of the new platform is PressReader v 2.0, for offline reading.
The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times already are fully converted to SmartNavigation mode.
NewspaperDirect delivers more than 270 newspaper titles to hotels, libraries, cruise ships, corporate offices, retail outlets, and home subscribers using a network of 400-plus print sites in 70 countries. It also provides Internet users with online access to newspapers through PressDisplay.com.
