Source:AIRFAX.com

NewspaperDirect, a leader in the digital delivery and printing of same-day newspapers, announced today that Jet Aviation, operators of the largest charter fleet on the planet, would be providing the service at their Fixed Base Operations in Zurich and Geneva. Jet Aviation has more than 60 facilities and stations in the United States, South America, Europe, the Middle and Far East.

The agreement with Jet Aviation was managed by NewspaperDirect's partner GlobalXPress. Jet Aviation plans to expand the service to facilities in the U.S., including New Jersey, Florida and California, as well as to additional international locations.

The newspapers are printed locally and delivered to passengers onboard. Based on individual requests and flight destination, they are chosen from a selection of over 200 titles including the Wall Street Journal, The Times of London, The Washington Post, El Pais, La Repubblica, New York Times, Le Figaro, Dagens Nyheter, Sydney Morning Herald, Folha De S. Paulo, Neue Zuricher Zeitung, Yomiuri Shimbun, Al Hayat, and Asharq Al-Awsat. The newspapers are exact reproductions of the original printed editions, delivered in a more portable 11"×17" (A3) format.

"This new service is value added and has been greatly received by our international customers," says Robert Whitehead, private aircraft handling manager at Jet Aviation's Zurich fixed based operation. "Local newspapers, especially from the Middle East, are either difficult to find outside their original market or outdated. With the broad range of titles, and the guarantee of same-day copies, our customers can receive the latest news from their country while traveling."

"Executives can get the day's news and events from the newspapers they regularly rely on, and use that information en route to their business meetings," said NewspaperDirect Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Richard K. Miller.
